Northern Siamese and Oriental GCCF 57th Annual Championship Show was held Saturday 13th April 2024

The show was once again a joint event with the Siamese Cat Society of the British Empire

Held at Coronation Hall, Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire YO51 9BL

The Show Manager Barbara James, the club commitees and volunteers all helped to make the show an outstanding success. There were some fine examples of Siamese and Oriental cats, kittens and household pets taking part.

BEST of the BEST in SHOW 2024 went to IGR CH & GR PR Toghar Daydream Believer (owned by Mrs J Hurst)

The Siamese Cat Society of the British Empire Best in Show 2024 also went to IGR CH & GR PR Toghar Daydream Believer

Overall Best Household pet went to MC Pyewacket (owned by Mrs V and Mr P Burke)

Due to the sad death of Show Manager, Betty Watson, prior to the show a special memorial class was held. It was judged and sponsored by Mrs Eva Birds.

There were Four classes Siamese/Oriental Adult - won by Aimeezoe Ti Amo owned by Mrs C Martin. Siamese/Oriental Neuter - won by CH Kaycees Oopsadaisy owned by K Cocksedge and Mr H Nyon. Siamese/Oriental Kitten - won by Tinkertaylor Flash of Tan, owned by Mrs E Brock. Household pet - won by IGMC Twix owned by Dr E Milan.

The Northern Siamese Cat Society was founded in York in 1962, for the benefit of Northern breeders. In 2011 Northern Siamese changed its name to Northern Siamese and Oriental Cat Society to allow the inclusion of Oriental cats at its show, in line with the wishes of its members. The aims of the club - to encourage interest in Siamese and Oriental cats and to preserve the welfare of all cats. The club is a member of the GCCF and hold their Annual Cat Show on the second Saturday in April each year welcoming Siamese, Balinese and Oriental cats including Household pets. In 2023/24 Northern Siamese and Oriental Cat Society held joint shows with The Siamese Cat Society of the British Empire.
